We had an awesome time exploring through Longwood Gardens using compasses.
I often differentiate by grouping my students in an environment where they will succeed, such as placing students who work well together in the same group, finding areas of the room that will keep the students focused and engaged, and developing activities to meet the needs of each student
Changing the world one smile at a time! What an honor to meet Dr. Mike Varshavski at the King of Prussia Mall on February 17th.

What is GoNoodle?
"GoNoodle helps teachers and parents get kids moving with short interactive activities. Desk-side movement helps kids achieve more by keeping them engaged and motivated throughout the day" (GoNoodle).
Getting Involved
How can you use GoNoodle in the classroom?
I use GoNoodle for brain breaks! GoNoodle has wonderful academic videos that make transitions fun. A class favorite is Blazer Fresh's Water Cycle. Not only do the students learn and remember the water cycle from this video, but they are able to let loose and have fun to take a quick break in between subjects.
GoNoodles are perfect for introducing a new subject. For example, I did a lesson on the story Stone Soup, so to get my students excited about soup, I put on the GoNoodle, Purple Stew, by MooseTube. This gave the students a brain break and an introduction to the next activity where they would be helping me make 'soup.'
